True Signs of Real Spring

Beautiful Weather...
and a Man with His Chainsaw...

As in Dallas Quilt Show!!!

I spent the last couple of weeks catching up to deadlines...and, yes I knew about them for a year, but Heaven forbid I get anything done early!
The rocket panel was sent off and has been posted on the Rocket Flickr site...

Finished my mini-quilt for the charity auction at the Quilt Show...
and also my Cover for Kids Challenge Quilt (we were all given the same fabric and then we could add more of our own but the challenge fabric had to be very visible)..

here's mine after it was finished  (the stars on the blue fabric glow in the dark!)

and here are both at the Quilt Show (Michelle's Cover for Kids is hanging above mine).

I think it's totally amazing how a bunch of people can be given the same fabric and we all end up with something different!

I also put three pieces in the DAFA Special Exhibit at the show (left: Imperfect Hand; right: Morning Impulse)

and On the Face of It (I blogged about this piece here)

It takes a lot of work to put on a show like this and I was pleased to be on the Show Committee.

But now I am exhausted and need to get some rest...and maybe this year, I'll beat those deadlines by more than a day or two!
